How to get accredited

Hospitality Businesses

  • Businesses selling takeaway foods and beverages must a meet a minimum of four badge standards to join our programme
  • Businesses not serving takeaways require three badges to join (given that our packaging related badges are often not applicable to businesses not serving takeaways).
  • Photographic and document evidence is collected from the business to validate compliance with our standards
  • We appraise our businesses when they join up, and then once per annum to ensure on-going compliance with our standards.

To join as a supplier you must provide:
• Evidence that your products are certified under specified eco-certification labels (if applicable)
• A list of your products that meet our badge standards.

Wherever possible we have incorporated eco-certification labels, which have third party certification, into our badge standards.

Transparency is important to us. You can download our Business Appraisal Process Document to learn more about our procedures. If you have any questions about our accrediation processes please contact our Ethical Business Advisor.
